At the conclusion of the site selection report, the chair instructed that the Counters were to destroy the ballots.

Ron Oakes then gave a presentation on Westercon 68, to be held July 2-5, 2015 in San Diego. Spider Robinson will be GOH; John Picacio, Artist GOH; Seanan McGuire, Fan GOH; and William F. Nolan (co chair of 1952 Westercon – Westercon 5) will be Special Guest.

Since the Masquerade will be on July 4 and dusk falls early in Southern California, the committee will be sure to make sure the two events do not conflict.

Until the end of Westercon 66, attending membership for Westercon 68 is $45. Presupporters will receive a $10 credit; those who presupport and voted will receive a $15 credit. Friends who voted are attending members. The rates go up by $5 after the conclusion of Westercon 66, and the new convention’s website will be westercon68.org. Ron Oakes made a correction to the flyer that was handed out: rates on that flyer are good from 7/8/13 through 12/31/13.

Ms. June Moffatt thanked the convention for not considering the Stardust Hotel.

With no new business, the Westercon 66 business meeting adjourned sine die at 11:39 a.m.
